A healthy board can build community support and credibility, set policy and strategic direction, select and evaluate the performance of executive leadership, and ensure proper financial and operational controls are in place. Trust, communication, and crystal-clear role definitions are critical if boards are to make effective decisions, and evaluate and manage their own performance.

Our work with boards uses sophisticated interviewing techniques and surveys like our Board Cultural Assessment to reveal what’s really going on with a board and the organizations they serve. We examine what’s working well and identify opportunities to improve. We then coach and support board members and the executive leadership to strengthen their ability to get things done and achieve their goals.
